Stacey’s passion for interior design blossomed in her childhood, where she dreamt up her future home. She honed her skills at the Greenside College of Design in Johannesburg, South Africa, and began her career with prestigious furniture companies in South Africa and the U.S. By the late 1990s, she embarked on her own projects, and soon after, she founded Stacey Lax Design. By the early 2000s, she was crafting luxurious homes in the upscale neighborhoods of Dallas and its surrounding areas. Entirely through referrals from delighted clients, her business expanded to encompass larger projects and commercial spaces. Her portfolio now includes stunning projects in markets such as New York, Miami, Southern California, and Telluride.

Stacey's enthusiasm for modern and contemporary design, combined with her ability to deeply connect with her clients and understand their design aspirations, has been the cornerstone of her success.
